Beachgoers in California was given a shock this week when a pool of 25 Great White sharks was spotted among swimmers.
According to CNN, the Coast Guard was forced to issue warnings to swimmers and surfers as the sharks moved close to the swimmers. Check out this video posted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The school of sharks was spotted by an Orange County helicopter about 1.30 p.m. near Capistrano Beach. Later in the evening, another group of sharks was spotted further north near the city of Long Beach and warnings were posted.

According to news reports, the Sheriff’s helicopter could be heard warning the swimmers.
You are paddleboarding next to approximately 15 great white sharks. Lifeguards are advising that you exit the water in a calm manner. The sharks are as close as the surf line.
