Influential groups within the DNC who supported Bernie Sanders in his Presidential bid are shocked not only at the DNC’s lousy treatment of Bernie but also state that the party is in a major leadership crisis and are “too comfortable”.
Whether it was the leaked emails showing that the DNC were actively working against their chosen candidate or the fact that the DNC has just become a protest party without putting forward any concrete policies, the one thing they all agree on is that there is an existential crisis happening that no one seems keen to even address.
With a major part of the DNC network being in open revolt, is it possible that President Trump will win a landslide victory in 2020? If the Dems refuse to look like an actual political party, their days may be numbered.
As reported in the Daily Caller:
Influential organizers who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders during the 2016 presidential primary still think that the Democratic Party is in an “absolute crisis,” according to an interview published Sunday.
Several organizers and donors who supported the self-described socialist were angry about how the Democratic Party handled the primary election, and still believe that party leadership isn’t doing enough to earn their support, according to a report from the Sacremento Bee.
“They are a party in absolute crisis and denial,” leader of the California Nurse’s Association RoseAnn DeMoro told the Bee about Democratic leadership. “They are too comfortable.”
