This one will really break your heart at the thought of what these poor snowflakes have to endure.
Over one-third of college students feel that it’s “absolutely necessary” that colleges provide them with “safe places” after they are traumatized when hearing opinions that they don’t agree with.
On the other hand, there is some good news that another third feel those that those so-called safe spaces are environments that “are completely out of touch with reality,” according to a story in the Daily Caller.
The concept of safe spaces for these privileged snowflakes has been the subject of much contention and ridicule on campuses around the nation according to the Daily Caller article.
In November, for example, the ladies of the student government at Barnard College decided to respond to Donald Trump’s presidential election victory with a “safe space” event featuring hot chocolate and “feminist coloring pages.” A single year of tuition, fees, and room and board at Barnard currently costs $65,992. That’s over $10,000 more than the median annual household income in the United States.
It’s hard to imagine how college students who can’t accept the results of an election that they don’t agree with are ever going to manage to have a job, not to mention a family and children.
