After dropping an 11 ton explosive bomb on an ISIS cave holdout in Afghanistan, President Trump in his usual expressive manner, not only praised the incredible job the military are doing, but also made a cavalier comment that some might take to be a direct threat to North Korea.
His exact wording was: “I don’t know if this sends a message, it doesn’t make any difference if it does or not. North Korea is a problem, but the problem will be taken care of.”
To many, this seems to suggest that he would consider using the same “explosive method” of dealing with the Dictatorship should push come to shove. This new tone is a marked difference to the usual obfuscation of the last 8 years under the Obama administration.
As reported in the Daily Caller:
“Really another successful job,” Trump said from the White House. “We’re very, very proud of our military. We are so proud of our military and it was another successful event.”
“So we have incredible leaders in the military, and we have incredible military. We are very proud of them. This was another very, very successful mission.”
