A man posted to social media after going to Walmart and testing their confederate flag policy. They flat out refused to make him a cake with a confederate flag design.
So the man went back, and brought them an ISIS flag design.
Walmart made the cake with an ISIS flag on it… but they refused to do the confederate flag cake.
“I went back and asked to get an ISIS battle flag printed,” he said, before the video cut to a shot of the ISIS cake being opened.
“That’s an ISIS flag cake that anyone can go buy at Walmart,” he explained. “But you can’t buy a Confederate flag toy like, say, Dukes of Hazzard’s car.”
“Walmart, can you please explain why you’re alienating southern Americans with this trash that you allow to be sold at your store,” he asked while holding the ISIS cake, “while at the same point, Confederate flag memorabilia is not allowed?”
The man also posted up a YouTube video, questing Walmart’s policy.
He says the original cake he wanted them to make had a confederate flag on it, and said “heritage, not hate.”
Walmart has yet to respond to the man’s complaints.
