President Trump often gives off a vibe of wanting to be The Godfather, utilizing the talents of wild, rebellious men while keeping them on a tight leash.
But if they keep proving themselves so forceful and adroit with the media, Trumpy might be tempted to give out just a little more slack.
Office of Management and Budgets (OMB) Director Mick Mulvaney was busy outline the structure, intents and purposes of the Trump administration Fiscal Year 2018 Budget at a press conference today. Mulvaney termed the proposal “The Taxpayers Budget.”
That’s where things get tense. A reporter asks about cutting “climate science programs” and the Director nearly hits the roof, lashing out pointedly at the Obama Administration and the European interests who want American tax money funneled into “green” science.
