Police in Pennsylvania are on the hunt for a man they captured on video using his twin baby children to steal at least $1,000 worth of merchandise from a Design for Vision store.
He was seen in the video placing the glasses on the kids to distract people. Then the camera caught him putting more sunglasses behind the kids, and under their seats.
He shoved more glasses in his pockets as he walked around the store holding two car seats.
The Daily Mail reports:
Video footage from the store shows him placing sunglasses on one of the babies’ faces and then sliding the eyewear behind the child’s head.
He’s also seen apparently putting more sunglasses in the other child’s car seat and in his own pocket.
The suspect is described as a white male, about average height and weight, with short, brown hair.
He was wearing a blue Harley-Davidson T-shirt with motorcycle designs on both sides, blue jeans and black shoes, and tinted sunglasses on his head.
This is not the fist time an infant has been used as a distraction during a robbery.
Last month, a man and a woman used a baby to rob a man in an elevator in New Orleans, Louisiana.
If anyone has information, the police encourage any tips.
