President Trump denounced The New York Times reports that members of his presidential campaign, and other Trump associates, have been in contact with the Russians for about a year.
He tweeted, “The fake news media is going crazy with their conspiracy theories and blind hatred.
@MSNBC & @CNN are unwatchable. @foxandfriends is great!”
He then added, on Twitter, “This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hillary Clinton’s losing campaign.”
Several attempts have been made over the last few months by the liberal media to tie Trump to a Russian scandal, attempting to “investigate” Trump’s communication with Russia in the past, and the attempt to tie Trump to a Russian hooker scandal. They have been debunked by the President as “fake news”.
The White House has shown that the priority surrounding Flynn’s resignation must be stopping the leaks, and finding out why exactly Flynn’s conversations were being monitored without proper paperwork or warrants.
Trump’s last thoughts for the night were, “The real scandal here is that classified information is illegally given out by “intelligence” like candy. Very un-American!”
He [Trump] also praised Bloomberg columnist Eli Lake, for discussing his latest column on Fox News, pointing out that the damaging intelligence leaks were the kind of behavior seen in “banana republics.”
“We trust the NSA and the FBI to use these powers to catch criminals and terrorists but that should not interfere in our politics, and that stuff is interfering right now in our politics,” Lake said in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Trump reminded the world that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s unchecked aggression began during the Obama administration.
“Crimea was TAKEN by Russia during the Obama Administration,” he wrote. “Was Obama too soft on Russia?”
