Turkey restated its decision to stop political discussion with the Netherlands. The Ankara’s agreement with the European Union seems to have ended as far as Turkey is concerned, and there is nothing to help hold back tides of Asian migrants.
Turkey is reassessing their obligations as a EU candidate and as a member of the Council of Europe, angered by the EU refusing to allow Turkish ministers speak at political rallies. The Turkish Foreign Ministry formally protested on Monday due to a Turkish Minister being escorted out of the Netherlands after Trying to attend a referendum rally.
The Prime Minister of Turkey, Nurettin Canikli, was commented on this situation by saying steps will be taken to reevaluate the agreement with Brussels that said refugees and migrants coming into Turkey are prevented from crossing into the EU.
From Gateway Pundit:
Turkey’s EU Affairs Minister threatened to open its border again with Europe to a flood of new Asian migrants. This comes after Germany and Dutch officials refused political rallies for Turkish president President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in their countries. “Having survived a military coup in July, Turkish president President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says the referendum is needed to stabilize the country, though European politicians have criticized his approach.”
