As President Trump begins his Grand Tour of the Major religious capitals around the world, he has struck a very different tone to the “apology tour” that former president Obama embarked on. Trump has called for a new cooperation from Muslims the world over to help combat Radical Islamism and terrorism.
He left no one in any doubt that this was the beginning of a new era, where America would not just be a casual observer, but a driving force behind stopping the death and destruction that is taking place all over the world.
The president made it very clear that unlike his predecessor, he will be taking a front seat on actions taken to destroy the rise of terrorism. His words had a profound effect not only on those in America, but also those in the Arab world. A new dawn begins.
As reported in the Daily Caller:
The president delivered a strong message, telling terrorists, “if you choose the path of terror, your life will be brief,” but the most interesting part of his speech was perhaps the conclusion.
“I ask you to join me to join together, to work together, and to fight together because united we will not fail. We cannot fail,” the president said. “Nobody, absolutely nobody, can beat us.”
And the last words Trump delivered in front of the group of Muslim leaders?
“God bless the United States of America.”
In 2009, President Barack Obama gave a speech to the Muslim world in Cairo, but his last words were quite different.
