Russian officials are asking the United States to investigate into the communications from an email server that is linked with President Trump’s businesses and the Russian Alfa Bank. Investigators in Russia think that it is the work of a hacker trying to create an elaborate digital hoax.
A Russian bank that reported having these mysterious ties between Trump’s server and one of its computers has found some new activity at indicates this link may be the work of a hacker. Alfwa bank is formally asking the U.S. Justice Department for assistance in the solving of this mystery and guarantees that they will provide full cooperation.

Alfa wants U.S. authorities to help unmask a computer inside the United States that it believes has been used to launch cyberattacks spoofing the appearance of a backdoor communication channel between Moscow and America’s 45th president, according to a source directly familiar with the bank’s request.
The bank believes “these malicious attacks are designed to create the false impression that Alfa Bank has a secretive relationship with the Trump Organization,” the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
