President Trump has been visiting this week with Jordanian King Abdullah II and his wife. Shortly after their arrival, the news became heavy, with the reports of chemical attacks being used in Syria. President Trump had to make a swift decision this week, not being afraid as usual to tell the truth.
During President Trump’s address, King Abdullah II stood nearby him, as President Trump partially blamed the last administration for allowing Syria to continue to use chemical weapons.
“A long time ago when he said the red line in the sand, when he did not cross that line after making the threat, I think that set us back a long ways, not only in Syria but in many other parts of the world because it was a blank threat. I think it was something that was not one of our better days as a country. I now have responsibility, and I will have that responsibility and carry it very proudly. I will tell you that. It is now my responsibility.”
The King tried interjecting his own comment when reporters were calling on him but the President cut him off to say the following,
“The world is a mess. I inherited a mess.”
The President was right to accept responsibility for what is happening now but also admitting that current circumstances were dictated by past decisions. The President will not allow these egregious actions to go unnoticed and unpunished. The Assad regime has zero conscious and they are not only a threat to their own people but to humanity.
The world will be a better place once they are ousted and prosecuted. There is no better person to do that than Donald Trump. He has the fortitude, the attitude, and the stamina to follow through with his promises, unlike the last President. President Trump will not let the world or this country down.
