Everyone has heard that President Trump fired FBI Director, James Comey, but not everyone knows the real reason why. The MSM are spinning that it is to halt an investigation into Russian Collusion (despite the fact that Comey himself told Trump on 3 separate occasions that he was not under investigation). But the real reason is because of a crucial letter that was written by Dep, AG, Rod Rosenstein.
The letter covered not only the fact that almost every member of the FBI that was investigating Clinton’s email server foul-ups thought that she should be charged…except Comey. Which seems strange after you know that he had a secretive meeting with AG Loretta Lynch to discuss the investigation and was handed his “orders” by her.
The details of the letter are shocking and show that Trump made the right decision.
As reported in the Daily Caller:
In a letter to the president recommending Comey’s dismissal, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said “the FBI’s reputation and credibility have suffered substantial damage.”
“As you and I have discussed, however, I cannot defend the director’s handling of the conclusion of the investigation of secretary Clinton’s emails, and I do not understand his refusal to accept the nearly-universal judgement that he was mistaken,” Rosenstein wrote. “Almost everyone agrees that the Director made serious mistakes; it is one of the few issues that unites people of diverse perspective.”
So the final damning letter is actually an accusation in itself. Will charges of incompetence or criminal mishandling be brought?
