President Trump and his movement with his family are set to come under close scrutiny as Democrat lawmakers look for watchdog to find any wrongdoing or inappropriate security. The use of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago retreat to spend time with his family is one of the driving forces behind this security watchdog; although many are wondering if it isn’t just the first step in the Elizabeth Warren 2020 campaign.
As reported in the Daily Caller:
The request comes from four Democratic members of Congress–Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Sheldon Whitehouse, and Tom Udall, and Rep. Elijah Cummings–who say the North Korea incident raises serious concerns about the president’s willingness and ability to protect classified information while staying at Mar-a-Lago. The lawmakers say they are also skeptical about the level of security screening for members and guests at the club.
“Anybody can get a membership at the club for $200,000,” Cummings told NPR. “We want to know what privileges do they have? And what privileges do they have with regard to bringing their guests?”
The President has made it very clear that he works seven days a week and that Mar-a-Lago is where he spends time with family. There are many people outside the media who are questioning the Democrat motivation behind this move, they are, after all, the same Lawmakers who stayed silent on Hillary Clinton epic email fail
