The hotly contested, 30 million dollar race for Georgia’s 6th District is not the only campaign coming to a head tonight.
Ralph Norman, a Republican and former state representative, faces Archie Parnell, Democrat and wealthy banker, in a special election for a U.S. House seat in South Carolina vacated by Mick Mulvaney.
Mulvaney is now the director of the Office of Management and Budget for the Trump Administration.
Polls closed in SC at 7 PM.
In more good news for Republicans nation-wide, Norman is currently leading – however by a smaller margin than expected in the conservative-leaning 5th District.
But with 93% of precincts reporting, even the Clinton News Network is calling the race a GOP win.
