Once again, Democrats‘ anger over losing in 2016 has boiled over into a state of desperation.
Either trying to rally young, uneducated voters to his party’s side or lose every upcoming election on purpose, DNC Chair Tom Perez once again insulted tens of millions of Americans in a speech over the weekend, repeating his line that “Republicans don’t give a s***” about people.”
Except this time, Perez added, “…don’t give a s*** about the people they are trying to hurt.”
The slogan represents a new low in politics and for the Democrats.
During the 2016 Presidential campaign, Donald Trump often insulted specific Democrats, but never the party as a whole or Democrat voters. Hillary Clinton said that “half” of Trump supporters were women-hating racists, but never implied that Trump wanted to “hurt people” out of sadism. Even the worst critics of Barack Obama have usually admitted that he means well, even if their views are not his views.
But by casting the Republican Party as “trying to hurt,” the Democrats have become the first party in modern American political history to paint their opponents as evil people who enjoy watching citizens suffer.
