According to the Smoking Gun, an Ohio woman has been charged with rape and robbery. Authorities say she assaulted a male cab driver while her accomplice held him a knifepoint.
Police say 23-year-old Brittany Carter had two male accomplices during the brutal crime. On January 28, one accomplice, 20-year-old Cory Jackson, called for a taxi to pick them up at the TownePlace Suites hotel.
While in the cab, it’s alleged that Jackson held a knife to the 29-year-old cab driver’s throat. He was eventually held down, while Brittany Carter performed some sort of sex act on him.
The two then stole a measly $32 from the Trinity Express Cab Service driver. Luckily, the driver was not physically injured during the rape and robbery.
Carter is accused of “having purposely compelled” the driver to engage in sexual conduct by “force or threat.” She is being held in Hancock County jail on a $60,000 bond, according to The Smoking Gun.
Carter she was indicted twice in 2016 on drug charges and is accused of possessing heroin and allowing her car to be used to traffic the drug.
Jackson, who is also wanted on a murder warrant out of Lima, has been charged with aiding and abetting Carter’s crimes as well as aggravated robbery.
Once the third driver is identified, he too will face charges, officials said.
