Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, has just made some extremely hard-hitting and poignant statements regarding the 9th Circuit blocking Trump’s proposed Travel ban. He says that those blocking these actions will have blood on their hands if an attack happens. And he’s right.
The first duty of Government is to defend its citizens against those that would do them harm. By allowing unvetted migrants from terror-prone countries straight in, the risk of attack increases dramatically. This is not some paranoia that the Left want you to think is all dreamt up by President Trump, it is a fact. ISIS themselves have on numerous occasions boasted that they are “flooding the West with Jihadis using the migrant crisis”.
The AG points out that since the 1980s there have been 44 travel bans put in place by US Presidents, 6 of them by Barack Obama…None of these were deemed unconstutional.
As reported in the Daily Caller:
“The people who have tried to stop [the travel ban] from happening, I think they own it,” Paxton said, adding that “blood would be on their hands,” if Texans are harmed by people who would have been kept out by the ban. “That’s the whole point. You look at what’s going on in Europe, as Texas attorney general, our effort is to stop them from coming here and it can happen, we know it.”

“It’s happened here before and in Canada, Florida, California, New York, so we all know it can happen. So lets do everything we can to stop this. and you notice the numbers when it comes to traveling, related to the travel ban, they’re down 50 percent from what they were last year so it is having some impact even though the courts, in my opinion, have inappropriately tied it up,”
