Danish authorities are looking for a gang of “other ethnic” criminals who attacked and pummeled a young couple in a pizzeria on Saturday night.
One of the victims, a young woman, is facing permanent hearing damage after being struck in the head.
The attack happened outside a pizza restaurant in Silkeborg, where the 24 year-old citizen and her boyfriend sat while eating. A man ran over and asked if pork was served on their pizza. When the couple said yes, he threw a slice of their pie on the ground, then engaged in a physical scuffle with both of them.
Soon, other men of the same ethnicity arrived to help overwhelm the victims and eventually batter the couple with punches and kicks. Eye-witnesses say the suspected gang leader also attempted to choke the young woman while screaming about the sacrilege of eating pork.
