In response to Hillary Clinton‘s claim that she would be President if the election would have been held on October 27th, White House press secretary Sean Spicer made a funny and incisive remark to the press on Wednesday.
“I’m a Patriots fan,” Spicer began in response to a question about Clinton’s statement.
“You play football games for 4 quarters. If you only played a football game for 3 quarters, a different team (the Atlanta Falcons) would have visited (the White House as Super Bowl champions) earlier this month.”
The secretary then went on to criticize the Clinton campaign and reaffirm the President’s electoral win. “Plenty has been said already about (Hillary’s) messaging,” he said.
