Georgia 6th District nominee “Greasy Jon” Ossoff and the Democrats had it all going their way just a couple of short weeks ago.
Polls showed Ossoff in a solid lead over Republican candidate Karen Handel in a special election for the House of Representatives. Many celebrities are campaigning for Ossoff, who has amassed more outside donations than those from inside the District.
But the polls changed this week. After a strong debate performance and rallying support from the GOP, Handel has pulled ahead – slightly – in the Real Clear Politics average.
Ossoff previously enjoyed as much as a 7-point lead in an Atlanta-Journal Constitution survey taken the week of June 5th.
But the 2 most recent polls show Handel in a slight lead or in a dead heat with Ossoff, giving her the momentum headed into the 2-way runoff.
Voting takes place tomorrow in the special election. Stay tuned to Reagan Coalition for election analysis and results!
