Ben Carson has discovered about 500 billion – with a B – dollars missing from the Department of Housing and Urban Development that may have been used by the former Administration to pay off spiraling Obamacare debts, reports Josh Rosner of Fox News.
Sources told Rosner that during an otherwise routine audit, Carson found that enormous sums of money had been filched from the department in different ways. Those include improper accounting and the funneling of money and resources to other programs, including the Affordable Care Act.
In total, Carson’s audit found 11 material weaknesses, 7 deficiencies, and 5 instances of noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations in Obama’s handling of the Federal department.
The Obama Administration also reportedly lifted from Fannie and Freddie to cover the hidden expenses of Obamacare.
