A councilman in Wayne Township, New Jersey was caught on camera in a harsh, verbally abusive confrontation with a fellow Republican.
Richard Jasterzbski was described as “unhinged” over an issue with a mayoral campaign. He was mostly in the wrong, menacing Republican activist and party official Susan Enderly. At one point, “Dick” amusingly accused Enderly of wanting him sexually.
But even though the scene involved no Democrats, the liberal media is already slowly but surely weaponizing it, playing into the narrative that conservatives are promoting conflict and a lack of civility.
An anonymous editorial from the New Jersey Record calls on all “Republicans” to call for Jasterzbski’s resignation. Really? Why can’t all civic leaders call for it regardless of party, if civility goes beyond party?
