During Jeff Sessions’ testimony before the Senate today, Senator Tom Cotton (R) brought up an interesting topic that not many expected to be discussed during the hearing – spy fiction.
“Do you like spy fiction? Do you like Jason Bourne or James Bond movies?” Cotton asked Mr. Sessions. “No…Yes,” the Attorney General smiled in response.
“Have you ever heard of a plot line so ridiculous that a sitting United States senator and an ambassador of a foreign government colluded at an open setting with hundreds of other people to pull off the greatest caper in the history of espionage?” Cotton followed.
Sessions thanked the Senator for the comic relief, and also for illustrating just how absurd the persecution of Sessions looks on the part of Democrats…who claim that the Trump Administration colluded with Russian efforts to hack our election.
