Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill is better known for complaining about the Founding Fathers than anything else. So it was totally unexpected when she praised the Trump Administration.
The Trump Admin announced a plan to revoke a rule that gave the EPA broad jurisdiction to regulate waterways. McCaskill said that the regulation “went too far for our farmers, ranchers, and landowners.”
Known as “Waters of the United States,” the rule imposed by Barack Obama provided regulatory agencies with near-unlimited authority to regulate private lands adjacent to so-called “navigable waters.” Landowners were subject to fines and jailtime for plowing fields they had farmed for decades.
The rule which made the lives of farmers and home builders a living nightmare, will soon be a figment of the past thanks to Donald Trump making America great again!
