This time it wasn’t the fault of airline staff that caused the latest incident on a U.S. airline.
Southwest flight 2530 was on its way to Oakland, California after departing Dallas earlier in the day. During a short stopover at the Burbank airport, a fight broke out between passengers.
CNN reported that a fistfight broke out between two male passengers and the situation worsen as other passengers tried to exit the plane. CNN described the situation:
Cell phone video that surfaced on social media shows two men apparently jostling for position near a row of seats. Then one man forces the other over the backs of the seats in front of them. He then leans over his fallen foe and unleashes a series of punches before fellow passengers rush in to stop the pummeling.
One man suffered minor injuries while the other was detained by Burbank airport police and arrested for misdemeanor battery.
