Tomi Lahren has officially been banned from appearing on The Blaze, Glenn Beck’s conservative network. She was initially suspended after declaring herself pro-choice in an interview on The View, flip-flopping her opinion as previously stated on the matter. Lahren’s show was extremely popular on an otherwise declining network, so her dismissal is raising a lot of eyebrows. Amy Grant, longtime news anchor for The Blaze, is also pro-choice and proudly so, so it brings more questions than answers as for the real reason behind Lahren’s removal.
There are some theories that her being fired is actually due to some conflicts with anti-Trump Glenn Beck for her very pro-Trump stance.
From Young Conservatives:
Remember a week or so ago when Youngcons reported that Tomi Lahren may be on her way out at The Blaze? Well, the hammer has hit. Tomi Lahren won’t be appearing on Glenn Beck’s multiplatform network, TheBlaze, anymore. Sources say Lahren — who was suspended last week after flip-flopping on abortion and declaring herself pro-choice — has been banned permanently.
“Glenn is reminding the world of his conservative principles by sidelining Tomi after she insulted conservatives by calling them hypocrites,” one Beck insider told me. This was in response to the Tomi’s appearance on The View. Much to the approval of the other women on the panel and of the audience, Lahren said the following
I’m pro-choice and here’s why. I’m someone that’s for a limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think women should decide what women should do with their bodies. I can sit here and say that, as a Republican and I can say, you know what You know what? I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well.”
