Social justice is an important issue in this country in 2017. That’s why two Seattle teachers believe that no child is ever too young to learn about its ideology. In the Columbia City community of Seattle, WA, a new preschool is scheduled to open up this fall. Its primary aim will be to indoctrinate children under the age of seven in the “social justice and intersectional theory.”
King5 News reported on an interview with Gore:
We’re looking to create the confidence that when these kids go into predominately white schools that they can bring counter narratives to the school.
Benjamin Gore and Jason Frelot are the two Seattle teachers launching the ‘anti-racism’ preschool in the back of the Columbia City Church of Hope. Here, they plan to educate preschoolers on the experiences of the People of Color in the US. Locals and experts call it the “anti-racism preschool.” Before its launch this fall, the teachers will offer local parents a series of community workshops.
The HeatStreet reports:
The teachers’ mindset follows the belief that toddlers can be inherently sexist and racist. It’s a view promoted by academic institutions such as Evergreen College, also in Washington State, which is holding a series of workshops for parents to help them cure their young children of natural thoughts like the gender binary.
It’s best to catch children while they’re still young, before they hop on Twitter and immerse themselves in memes that make fun of feminist outrage.
