In a stunning move, partisan conservative pundit Sean Hannity has declared loudly – on his radio show and on Fox News – that Bernie Sanders is not in any way responsible or complicit in this morning’s assassination attempt on Republican congressmen.
“I’m not going to do with the left does,” Hannity said.
But the media host also hinted strongly that Sanders’ politics are based on tolerance and that his 2016 campaign was different than the hate-filled campaign of Hillary Clinton.
“Bernie Sanders is not responsible for what one of his stupid supporters has to say. Because most Bernie Sanders supporters are not violent and not out there trying to kill Republicans,” Hannity continued.
Then, the anchor used a quick history lesson to show that Democrats haven’t always followed in the same spirit of love.
“The Oklahoma City bombing didn’t stop Bill Clinton from blaming talk radio,” he said.
