Celebrity Apprentice is not the show it used to be now that Donald Trump is gone. Ever since Arnold Schwarzenegger took over, the ratings for that show have been low. Now, Schwarzenegger says that he is quitting this show after only hosting for one season. When asked why he is leaving? He said Donald Trump.
Schwarzenegger does not want to associated with President Trump, who is still an executive producer for the show. This is just a credit on the show. President Trump is now busy running a country and definitely is not working behind the scenes at Celebrity Apprentice, but instead of facing his tanking ratings, Schwarzenegger abandoned ship and blamed the low rating for people boycotting President Trump.
From Washington Times:
“I learned a lot, I had a great time, it was a really great opportunity,” the former Republican governor told Empire in an interview published Friday. “But under the circumstances I don’t want to do it again.” “It’s not about the show,” he said. “Because everyone I ran into came up to me and said ‘I love the show … but I turned it off because as soon as I read Trump’s name I’m outta there!’ “When people found out that Trump was still involved as executive producer and was still receiving money from the show, then half the people [started] boycotting it,” he continued. “Even if asked [to do it again] I would decline,” he added.
