Since revealing evidence that shows Democrats and “deep state” operatives have illegally spied on Donald Trump and other political opponents, House Intel Chair Devin Nunes has been the target of a relentless media onslaught.
But today Adam Housley, a reporter from Fox News, battered Nunes’ enemies and destroyed several false narratives in a series of scoops that Housley posted on Twitter this afternoon.
Guided by high-level sources in the Federal government, Housley tweeted with confidence that Obama’s surveillance of President Trump began well before the campaign ended, that Nunes’ intelligence briefings pre-dated the President’s comments about the former President spying on Trump Tower, and that the New York Times‘ sources and Nunes’ sources are not the same.
Then came the real bombshell:
Finally, the reporter preempted any idea that these are “pro-Trump” officials blowing the whistle. “My sources are not Trump people, ” tweeted Housley. “They are just frustrated.”
