The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) may make a lot of conservative groups wait years for tax-exempt status. But now, an “After School Satan Club” manufactured by atheists has been given tax-free, nonprofit status within 10 days of submitting to the IRS.
The status may be given to charitable, educations or religious organizations which operate without taking a profit. Under the Obama administration, conservative groups have been targeted and made to wait up to 7 years before achieving nonprofit legality.
Meanwhile, “Satanic” liberal groups have been allowed right in. These “Satan” clubs are typically not ran by individuals who actually believe in Satan, but can be anti-religious in nature and are intended to protest the Christian teaching of students.
The After School Satan Club has set up shop at Point Defiance Elementary School in Tacoma, Washington.
