A spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry posted some succinct advice for American citizens on Facebook this week.
“Guys, have you been reading American newspapers again?” wrote spokeswoman Maria Zakharova to her state-side friends. “You shouldn’t read them. You can put them to various uses, but you shouldn’t read them.”
Zakharova also described reports of Trump sharing classified intel with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov as “yet another fake.”
Lately, reading American newspapers isn’t just harmful, it’s “dangerous,” she wrote.
