The House Intelligence Committee has issued 7 subpoenas in its ongoing look into Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election.
Big deal, right? More partisan hacks prying into private lives, trying to invent a crime to charge the Trump family with.
But these subpoenas are different. 3 of them request documents related to the Obama Administration, and Susan Rice in particular, spying on political opponents.
Identities of United States citizens are to be hidden during any surveillance unless “unmasked” by officials with both authority to do so, and evidence of a crime.
Leakers have damaged the careers of the Trump team members affected, and hurt the country’s security along the way.
The trio of all-important subpoenas have gone to the National Security Agency, the FBI, and the Central Intelligence Agency. They appear to seek documentation on requests made by Rice, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power.
