A “digital magazine,” The Root, has asked the question of if a man should be punished for shooting another man. The Root states that it provides “black perspectives,” so we can rightly assume that this is a race related issue. The white man shot the black man whilst he was in the process of drowning his three-month-old twins and holding his wife hostage with a knife.
The fact that they could even ask this question tells us everything that is wrong with race relations in this country. We have been so divided by race-baiters with their own selfish agendas (both black and white) that people are seeing things only as an issue of race. They can’t even see that this guy is a hero who likely saved three lives!
The Root should be ashamed of itself for encouraging the idea among susceptible people that this is even debatable. How about we ask the wife of the guy with the knife what she thinks? Does she think the man who saved her and her twins should be punished?
As reported in the Daily Caller:
The Root, a website that describes itself as “a digital magazine that provides thought-provoking commentary and news from a variety of black perspectives,” asked its Twitter followers if a man should be punished for shooting another man who was allegedly attempting to drown twin infants while holding his estranged wife at knifepoint.
The report linked in the tweet is a straight retelling of the story with a video from a local TV station.
Shockingly, many on Twitter thought that the man should be punished.
