The Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke and his ex-wife Paula Patton have been in the midst of an ugly child custody battle. It looks like things will finally be resolved soon.
TMZ sources say that the former married couple is trying to come up with details for a custody arrangement on which they can both agree. They’ve been battling back and forth over custody of 6-year-old Julian Fuego Thicke for months now.
A restraining order was granted to Paula Patton against Robin Thicke by Judge Roy Paul in February. This came after Judge Paul heard about Julian’s complaints to school officials about his dad spanking him excessively.
Thicke has since admitted to the allegations, writing in a public statement, “I have always used progressive discipline with Julian, primarily the use of timeouts.”
According to the gossip site, Thicke was given privilege of “3 visits a week” with a “court-appointed monitor” in attendance to each meeting.
Patton has since accused the crooner of “wining and dining” a social worker involved in the custody case at an extravagant sushi dinner.
Thicke’s reps have denied the claims — citing the woman was a legal supervisor for the dinner with Julian, and wasn’t sitting at the same table.
The parents’ new trial was expected to begin Monday and conclude Tuesday, but has been rescheduled.
