It seems actor Robert Blake may have finally found love… again. About 12 years ago, the Baretta star was acquitted after a long, public trial. He had been accused of murdering Bonnie Lee Bakley, his second wife.
His current fiance’s name is Pamela Hudak. And, according to TMZ, the 83-year-old sitcom actor was spotted Thursday with his bride-to-be at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. He was right next to 55-year old Hudak as they filled out a marriage license application.
Insiders say the couple has known each other for many years now. They had dated some decades back. Now, they’re in love and getting marries.
Bonnie Lee Bakley was murdered in May 2001 while she waited for Blake in his car. She was fatally shot after dining with Robert Blake at a San Fernando Valley restaurant named Vitello’s.
Blake, who was originally charged with her murder, claimed he forgot his gun inside the restaurant during the freak incident, and when he returned his wife was dead, the Daily News reported at the time.
Blake was found not guilty when the jury cleared him of the criminal charges on March 16, 2005.
In the 16 years since Bakley’s death, many have speculated about the case, leading to some conspiracy theories.
“I do not believe for one second that he pulled the trigger,” Scott Ross, an investigator in the case, said in a statement. “But yes, I do believe that he was involved.”
