Rand Paul, libertarian Republican in the Senate. Establishment Republican senator Mitch McConnell. Distinguished physicist Will Happer.
What do these people all have in common?
They want President Trump to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Paul, in an editorial this week, says that remaining in the agreement would cost American jobs.
Happer argues that the Paris agreement is pointless and hurtful, while McConnell signed a letter along with 20 other Republicans in Congress asking the President to pull out.
But meanwhile, senior members of the administration including Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson are urging him to stay in the deal.
