Libertarian Rand Paul just clowned Jake Tapper today in an aggressive 8-minute interview segment on the Paris Accord.
Using systematic logic, Rand began by saying President Trump promised to protect the American worker and American jobs. “We’ve lost 90,000 jobs in Kentucky due to over-regulation,” Paul said.
When Tapper whined petulantly in response, the Kentucky senator pointed out China as an example of a country that signed up to the accord for their own benefit, but continued to pollute the environment. “China doesn’t have to play by the same rules,” Paul said.
The senate Republican also schooled Tapper on climate change, saying that while the environment is important, the fact that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old and had a changing climate before the Industrial Revolution is being ignored. The CNN pundits screaming about “mass global extinction,” Paul told Tapper, look ridiculous.
There’s plenty more great stuff in the interview, viewable below.
