Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign staff wants to know who it was who leaked embarrassing details about her run for President to authors Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes.
Allen and Parnes used the behind-the-scenes scoops as fodder for their new book “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign.”
These stories include Clinton’s apology to President Barack Obama on election night, and Clinton’s surveillance of her own staff’s emails to see who was talking to the reporters.
“The knives are out to find the people who spoke about the campaign to the authors of this book,” a source was quoted in the New York Post.
“Dennis (Cheng, billionaire guru of the Clinton campaign) has been texting…staffers, asking who talked. He’s on a witch hunt to find out who talked,” the source continued.
“There’s some speculation that Huma Abedin cooperated to save her own reputation.”
