One thing that Americans from either side of the aisle can credit President Trump for, is opening the door for political outsiders to try their hand at politics.
Why just recently, we’ve heard that Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, wants to challenge President Trump in 2020.
Robert James Ritchie, aka Kid Rock, is talking about running for a Senate seat in Michigan next year.
Olympic decathlete, reality TV star, and famous transgender woman, Bruce Jenner, aka Caitlyn Jenner, is planning to run for Senate as well.
Will Jenner get the nod from the GOP? It is, after all, the Republican Party that Jenner hopes to help bring around on LBGT issues.
Or will Democrats, who love the fact that Jenner is transgender, but at the same time think he leans too far to the right, support his bid for a Senate seat.
Maybe the Libertarians or the Green Party?
One thing’s for sure, the next couple of years are going to be quite a circus! It’ll be interesting to see who else comes out of the woodwork to throw their hat in the political ring.
Clash Daily reports:
Olympic Decathlete. Reality Star. Most Famous Sex change … “Woman of the Year” And now … Senator?
What a whirlwind journey Jenner is on.
And it might be JUST getting started.
One of the by-products of Trump becoming President has been the floodgates opening for other political celebrities.
