More than two decades before he railed against Donald Trump, a young Barack Obama dreamed of being the billionaire businessman, claims a shocking new biography of Barry called “Rising Star.”
Barack revealed his admiration of The Donald in a never-before published book written with a classmate at Harvard, portions of which are published in the biography.
Americans possess a “continuing normative commitment to the ideals of individual freedom and mobility,” Obama wrote…in context, a fancy way of saying it’s nice to be rich.
He continued, “The depth of this commitment may be summarily dismissed as the unfounded optimism of the average American.”
“I may not be Donald Trump now, but just you wait; if I don’t make it, my children will,” the passage concludes.
Years later, Obama would join his party in a frantic, mud-slinging campaign effort to prevent Trump from being elected – an effort that ultimately proved fruitless.
