The surge in political activism and a unified stance against president Trump is not necessarily energizing the Liberals, conservative supporters are feeling wounded by this irony of democracy. The liberal’s moral Bolshevism is provoking Trump supporters’ resolve to supporting him. Moderate conservatives are being pushed closer to Mr. Trump.
Although the upscaled protests and righteous indignation in Hollywood and on social media may seem to be about policy and persuasion, conservatives feel that the liberals are bringing division instead of building bridges. Trump supporters are increasingly feeling alienated especially when publicly condemned. However, the liberal’s irrationality is making the supporters stronger and focused.
“The name calling from the left is crazy,” said Bryce Youngquist, 34, who works in sales for a tech start-up in Mountain View, Calif., a liberal enclave where admitting you voted for Mr. Trump is a little like saying in the 1950s that you were gay. “They are complaining that Trump calls people names, but they turned into some mean people”
