On Election Night in November, liberal CNN analyst Van Jones hissed that the election of Donald Trump by Americans amounted to a “white-lash” of racist hatred against outsiders.
But a newly-released CNN poll (below) would appear to stop that accusation in its tracks.
90% of the supposedly “racist” American voting public told survey-takers that they would support a system in which some undocumented immigrants could apply for citizenship, if they “have been in the United States for several years, have a job, speak English and are willing to pay back taxes.”
Only 9% of respondents did not favor such a policy.
The poll, which contacted over 1000 American voters over the phone, also registered 78% agreement that the United States should deport illegal aliens who have committed crimes. Only 19% said such criminals should not be deported.
