Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, approached Melania Trump when they got off the plane last week in Israel. The first lady of Israel greeted Melania so warmly, that it is getting so much praise across social media.
Netanyahu told Melania, “I talk every place about her, how great she is. And how great you are. I can testify to that. Because a majority of the people in Israel, unlike the media, they love us. So we tell them how you are great so they love you. We have very much in common. We’ll talk about it over dinner.”
Meanwhile, President Trump condemned the May 22 terrorist attack in Manchester, England. At least 22 people, including children, were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up right after an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.
“So many young, beautiful, innocent people living and enjoying their lives, murdered by evil losers,” Trump said in a speech given after the attack. “I won’t call them monsters because they would like that term, they would think that is a great name. I will call them, from now on, losers because that’s what they are: losers.”
In a later speech at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Trump reiterated his commitment to driving terror out of the world.
“All civilized nations must be united in this effort,” he said. “This trip is focused on that goal, bringing nations together around the goal of defeating the terrorism that threatens the world and crushing the hateful ideology that drives it so hard and seems to be driving it so fast.”
