Liberal activists have boycotted Ivanka Trump’s line of women’s fashion in a movement called ‘Grab your wallet.’ This movement does not seem to be successful.
In February, her line reported record sales, some of the best since the launch of her brand. Now, Neiman Marcus, one of the stores that dropped her line after her father’s rise into politics, has gone back to carrying her line.
Her products had disappeared from their website in early February. Not even a month has gone by and they’re back to carrying her products, a Ivanka Trump brand $4,360 ring and a $5,400 ring.
The activists are not just targeting her products, but stores that do business with her and are associated in business with the Trump family.
From Gateway Pundit:
Shannon Coulter, the originator of the anti-Trump #GrabYourWallet boycott movement, posted on Twitter on Wednesday that two new Trump brand items had surfaced on the retailer’s website. The news that Neiman Marcus had apparently dropped Ivanka Trump’s brand came just hours after Nordstrom cut ties with the brand in early February.
In recent months, Ivanka Trump has become a popular target of activists encouraging people to boycott retailers selling her products, as well as other companies that do business with the Trump family. Retailers including Nordstrom, Shoes.com, and Belk have dropped the first daughter’s fashion line since the anti-Trump boycott movement #GrabYourWallet launched on social media in October.
