Justine Damond called 911 to report suspicious activity behind her house. When police arrived, she came out, unarmed, and wearing her pajamas. She began talking with the officer who was driving the squad car when Mohammed Noor pulled out his weapon and shot her from the passenger seat. Damond was dead at the scene.
In his defense, Noor said he was ‘spooked‘ by the unarmed white woman in her pajamas.
Noor’s partner and the driver of the squad car that night, Matthew Harrity, tells a different story.
Police sources said Harrity was driving the squad car and Noor was in the passenger seat. Noor reached across Harrity and fired several shots out the window, killing Damond.
Harrity, who had been talking with Damond, didn’t perceive her as a threat and was stunned by his partner’s actions.
Much more is going to come out on this story, and for now, it doesn’t look too good for Noor.
Silence is Consent reports:
Justine Damond, mother and bride to be, had called 911 over a suspicious man she saw behind her house. When the officers arrived, she came out in her pajamas, completely unarmed, to speak with them over the potential intruder.
Then, out of nowhere, Mohamed Noor whipped out his pistol and shot her dead…while he was sitting inside of his car. He claims that he was “spooked,” but his partner seems to tell a different story. Matthew Harrity, despite only being on the police force for 1 year, is held in high esteem by his fellow officers.
