It is not President Trump or the Republicans that have the most to fear from the upcoming Congressional hearings by the House Intelligence Committee.
Rather it is the Democratic Party and the media that have the most to lose.
The Committee issued seven subpoenas yesterday in connection with its investigation and the names of those subpoenaed strongly indicate that the Obama’s administration’s illegal use of intelligence gathering against the Trump campaign will be of prime concern to the Committee, as reported by the National Review.
One of surprise subpoenas was for Samantha Power, Obama’s ambassador to the U.N. to determine if she “unmasked” the identities of American citizens whose communications might have been captured by intelligence agencies.
The media may also come under increased scrutiny for its role in leaking classified information in the aftermath of the uproar over classified information from the British regarding the Manchester bombing that was released within hours to the press.
The Democrats and liberal media could come to regret their push to attack President Trump as the risks to them are increasing.
