The First Lady’s homeland of Slovenia, a small country in central Europe, has gone bonkers over Melania Trump’s rise to world leadership and is profiting handsomely off of her fame, says a report in 100% Fed Up.
The country is experiencing a massive tourism boom, with Western travelers eager to visit the new First Lady’s homeland. Slovenia has seen at least a 10% increase in the number of Americans booking overnight stays in 2016 compared to the previous year, the Slovene statistics bureau said yesterday.
But not all is on the up-and-up. Slovenia’s Sevnica Castle (in photo below) is now selling products – including wine, chocolate and beauty cream – which carry the brand name First Lady.
Melania has hired lawyers to try to remove her association and likeness from the products’ packaging.
