As previously reported on Reagancoalition.com, rapper Snoop Dogg has unleashed a firestorm of Trump-hate and controversy with his newly-released video “Lavender,” in which he pretends to shoot a clownish Donald Trump figure.
But at least one D.C. Senator isn’t having it.
Marco Rubio (photo below) slammed Snoop to TMZ on Monday night, bringing up the specter of past POTUS assassinations and assassination attempts. “Snoop shouldn’t have done that,” said the Senator and former Presidential primary candidate who feuded with Trump in 2016.
“Because the wrong person sees that and gets the wrong idea and you can have a real problem,” Rubio added. “He (Snoop Dogg) should think about that a little bit.”
When explaining the video’s imagery to reporters, Snoop oddly referenced the federal government’s war on marijuana which was neither launched by Trump nor the modern Republican party. Trump has been moderate on the issue and argues for state’s rights to legalize weed or continue to criminalize it.
